Spanish term

Montaje/edición de audiovisuales

Spanish to English Other Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
¿Qué se usaría en este contexto para "montaje"? ¿Montage o mounting?

Según he investigado, "montage" es una técnica concreta de superposición de imágenes. Sin embargo, "mounting" no me aparece mucho en el contexto audiovisual.

¿"Editing" incluiría ya el significado de montaje?

Gracias

agree philgoddard : It doesn't actually say presentations though.

I understand. In one of my better dictionaries, "audivisual" as ad adjective is "audiovisual" but as a noun, "audiovisual presentation" and since the adjectives pronomonalize automatically in Spanish, but not in Engilsh, ....
agree Lourdes Sanchez : de acuerdo con montage, la segunda parte editing/ post-production

Gracias, Lourdes - me gusta la sugerencia de "editing" que es una parte específica de"post-production" - Mike

audio/video editing

'Audio/video montage' seems to refer more to the finished product of the process than to the process itself. So maybe 'audio/video editing' would be more appropriate.

If this is for use in the credits at the end of a production, then I think "audio/video editing" or "audio/video editor" might work.

agree Jim Tucker (X) : It's certainly not "montage"
