I think that the term is dipòsit de cua - and probably means "buffer"

Tail tank

From the ajuntaments's website:

"The pipeline built by Barcelona City Council conducts the flow of water along the stretch between Carrer Motors to the tank located at level 70 in Montjuïc just beside the crossroads at Carrer Foc, Passeig Olímpic and Carrer Pierre de Coubertin. This ***tail tank*** allows the distribution of this flow along the mountain at a moisture chamber capacity of 100 m3. It is part of the last stretch of an over 9 kilometre-long infrastructure running from the Waste Water Regeneration Station "

Could have been a dreadful direct translation, I thought, but checking the term on other websites confirms that it is used in the industry.
