English term

grats

English to French Marketing General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Informel
I found that I now can sell the product to my clients better than before! In fact, I used my new found skills yesterday afternoon on a client. She was ecstatic that I saved her $300! It paid for her grats and insurance.
Left the office on a high!

FX Fraipont (X) Oct 25, 2011:
Grats Well, obviously, if "it paid for her grats", her grats are not gratuities...
Grants? Could it be "her grants and insurance"?
AllegroTrans Oct 24, 2011:
Gratis? Is it not gratis?
Lara Barnett Oct 24, 2011:
Grats On first sight I would say "grats" is short for "congratulations", but it seems odd for this context... or could it be correct here?

Could it be Grantor Retained Annuity Trust? Apparently it's a way for wealthy people to cut their tax bills.

assurance-vie
