Spanish term

puesta en presión rápida (PPR)

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
Appears in a technical specification for a natual gas plant.
Esta instalación debe estar formada por una/dos línea/s de acero inoxidable (fase líquida y fase gas), que a través de flexibles criogénicos conectan la cisterna con un serpentín de * puesta en presión rápida (PPR) * de descarga de cisternas de tubo aleteado, que aporta el calor necesario al GNL para la presurización de la cisterna.
thank you.

pressure building system

Not sure this translation fits but I found product info documents as noted in the references below, where the following translations have been used.

Después del llenado, la Puesta a Presión Rápida (PPR) del Euro Cyl
aumenta la presión hasta alcanzar el valor de consigna que
se ha ajustado en el regulador de control de presión.

After filling, the Euro-Cyl’s pressure building system raises the operating pressure to the desired pressure set in the combination pressure control regulator.

neutral philgoddard : I don't see how "puesta en presión" becomes "heat exchange" (intercambio de calor).
29 mins
Because a 'puesta en presión' is required for the heat exchange to take place.

neutral Giovanni Rengifo : Speaking of references, there are no references of "rapid start-up coils" online. Besides the translation should probably have the word "pressure/pressurization" somewhere to indicate what the coil does o how it works. LOL ;-)

rapid pressurization/pressurisation coil

I think this is what is meant here.

"poner algo bajo/a presión" means to pressurize, so I think my version is a plausible option. I don't know whether this is exactly the term of art, though.
