English term

Screw, #8 x 1/2 PTRH, Type 17, Serr, SS

FVA Not for points English to French Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Hardware description
I have to translate some hardware description with many abbreviations that I do not know. Is anybody familiar with PTRH, PPHD, PPH, PPH M/S. If you have any information where I can find good information, even images of the different kind of screws, please let me know. Or maybe, it is simply the same abbreviations in French...
Thanks in advance.

Vis #8 x 1/2 à tête cylindrique bombée, type 17, cannelée, acier inoxydable

In my opinion PTRH would stand for protruding head (tête saillante), PPH Phillips pan head (vis à tête cylindrique bombée Phillps), PPHD (vis à tête cylindrique Phillips pour perceuse), Serr - serrated (vis cannelée), SS - stainless steel (acier inoxydable).

Hopefully this will help.
Note from asker:
Merci beaucoup Manon. Ces explications m'ont aide dans mes recherches. Je vais confirmer avec mon client pour la signification de PTRH pour être bien sure qu'il s'agit de protruding head. Je vais utiliser crantée au lieu de cannelée.
