Hi everyone
I am translating a manual for a braiding machine and I am stuck on the term "Salva husos". In this context "husos" means spindles but I have not seen "Salva husos" before. I can find references to the dircet translation "Spindle savers" but not in the context of a braiding machine and the only reference I can find in the context of a braiding machine is "anti-tangle device".
A bit of context:
"Centrar el portico con la placa base alieneando el centro de la placa con el salva husos"
"Una vez conectada la máquina activar el selector y comprobar si el sentido del salvahusos es el mismo que la flecha (fig.2). En caso contrario intercambiar L1 y L2."

if you look at this site in any case, the word "salva" has not been correctly translated into either English or French, so I would ignore the word entirely.
and just put
"spindles"....
the site refers to "recogeder de salva husos"....so spindle collection/retrieval system would be ok..
