again, a suggestion. A fairly literal transalation, but which can have a "spiritual" connotation to go withthe "château de l'âme" . I have pondered for a while on "wash me + XXX" (I then moved on to gospel song type quotes...) but cannot find a suitable adjective.
polyglot quite rightly asks about the certainties, so I'd sugggest: "dislodges/breaks down my certainties and lays me bare"

It sounds like he's saying that whilst he needs to try to reconstruct his inner landscape and castle of the soul, the river of time washes away what he has managed to build so he has to start all over again. So maybe you need an expression which suggests being back to square one/starting again.
Just a suggestion (a very non-literal but arty one) the river of time once again undermines/dislodges/carries away my certainties, leaving me a blank canvas
