‘In order to stabilise the rapidly deteriorating economic situation in Greece’ he continued, ‘we made an agreement with the EU and the IMF to secure necessary funding. I am not sure whether to translate this term by:'Consolidation fiscale', 'intégration fiscale', or assainissement budgétaire.

I know that fiscal is sometimes translated as 'budgétaire' and sometimes as 'fiscal', though I have no idea why this should be.

As to 'intégration fiscale', I have only mentioned it as it came up more frequently on google.fr than 'consolidation fiscale'
but anyway, I am in the dark as to the meaning of these terms, as finance is not my strong point1

the correct translation and any additional input would be much appreciated.
