Il existe de nombreuses possibilités ici.
"Power Plate" est synonyme de "Driving Plate", "Clutch Plate", mais un peu plus de contexte pourrait être fort utile.
Pourriez-vous nous dire de quelle carter il s'agit ici ?

Puisqu'il est question de freins, je pense que "plateau d'entraînement" puisse convenir.
Exemple :
"Présenter l'ensemble des segments et cylindre de roue. (La garniture courte est placée à l'arrière.) Accrocher le câble de frein au levier de commande mécanique (5). Maintenir en place l'extrémité du câble avec un doigt. Écarter les segments pour les placer derrière le plateau d'entraînement."

En absence de détails sur le fonctionnement du système et bine que le terme "power" pour un frein me laisse perplexe, le terme "plateau d'entraînement" pourrait sans doute convenir: plateau principal dans un embrayage multidisque
BRAKE DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the yokes from the input shaft.
2. Position the brake with the power plate up, the side with the mounting lugs.
3. Remove spacers from each end.
4. Remove the bolts alternately and slowly, keeping power plate parallel to the housing to prevent damage to the bearings. Use extreme caution springs can cause power plate to pop off housing.
5. After the bolts have been removed, remove the power plate assembly from brake.
6. Remove shaft and disk stack from the brake. If the disk stack is to be serviced use a shop press to remove the bearing cones from the
shaft.
7. Remove primary plate (2), springs and spring retainer from housing spring pocket.
8. Remove piston (27) from power plate by using Low Pressure air 1 Bar (15 psi) through hydraulic inlet. Make sure the piston is directed away from the operator.
9. Remove O-rings from the OD and ID of the groove of the piston.
- a clutch plate has a housing but no bearing (held by crankshaft), thus "plateau d'embrayage" is not certain
- a clutch disk is called disk, sometimes platen, but transmits power nevertheless, thus "disque d'embrayage" is dubious
- most automatic transmissions have a power plate in the torque converter, but like the clutch plate it is held on the crankshaft and has no bearings, thus "plateau d'entraînement" is a guess
One does not need to understand anything to translate "steering wheel" with "volant" but for this kind of term it is better to understand before translating, so a bit of explanation will be welcome
