New York state law requires that the LLP publish its certificate of registration or "a notice related to the registration of the LLP" once a week for six consecutive weeks in two newspapers within 120 days of the date the certificate took effect. One newspaper must publish weekly and the other must publish daily, and both must be designated by the clerk of the county in which the certificate of registration states that the LLP has its principal office. The LLP must then file a certificate of publication with the corresponding fee and an affidavit of publication from the newspapers stating that the certificate of registration was published with the Division of Corporations.
