German term
Übf.
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Transport / Transportation / Shipping
This comes from an application for a loaded heavy vehicle to cross a stretch with traffic prohibitions. That part of the stretch reads:
"Übf. St 2410 östl. Heilsbronn"
I've seen "Überholbahnhof", but for a truck this doesn't seem to make sense. Any thoughts?

Überfahrung = Travelling via
I have this on good authority; the Strassenverkehrsamt in Heilsbronn, no less.
It means the vehicle is to travel over a stretch of the Staatsstrasse and not merely cross it.

Thanks, Andrew: it wasn't actually the client I asked, it was the author of the text in the question. Just thought it might help Parrot - but you know what thought did...
