plataforma corte talud

Spanish to English Other Archaeology Archaeological site
Text about Peru. I have seen 'talud en corte' but not 'plataforma corte talud'.

@ Lorena Thanks :) I think it must be some kind of platform/ledge cut into a slope that serves as a path.

Hi Lisa Doing a bit of research, it looks like talud seems to be the same as a terraplén. My computer is acting up so I am having a really hard time copying references, but a search of talud architecture got me there.
Hope this is of some help

flat section of earth with sloping sides

Sorry, I'm not managing to find a reference that may help, but I understand the "plataforma corte talud" as being a "flat section of earth with sloping sides".
Being "plataforma" the "flat section of earth" and the "corte talud" the "sloping sides".
In the context maybe could fit as "pathways and flat sections of earth with sloping sides"...
