@ Helena Thank you! It's no big deal really. GGSS does come up in the search, and as for "Clientes", well, I don't think we need a separate entry just for that.

I'm sometimes rude about the KudoZ glossaries, which do contain quite a lot of rubbish, but I've been using them for a long time (since long before I started to contribute, in fact), and have found them invaluable on many occasions.

When a term is already in there with the wrong translation (which does happen), it's worth making another entry to offset it, but that's not the case here. But I won't object in the slightest if someone else feels like posting an answer.

@Charles If GGSS (or Clientes GGSS) doesn't appear in the term search, you need to post your answer. Although I don't often use ProZ to find translation terms, for the past month I've been finding it very useful due to the nature of what I'm translating. Don't worry about certain comments, I've learnt to live with them!

No indeed! My comment wasn't directed at you, James; sorry if it sounded like that. I was just feeling a bit rueful about what happened to me earlier, which has nothing to do with this. Anyway, I know from experience that it's terribly easy to miss things in the glossary. There is one reference for GGSS in SP>EN, and one in SP>GE, but the other one is "GG.SS", so it doesn't come up if you search for "GGSS" or indeed "GG.SS." In fact I just tried a search for "GG.SS" and it came up with the new term search but not with the old. Strange.
As for posting an answer, I don't think it makes any practical difference; the main thing is you've got what you need.

@ James No reason to be "ticked off"! The glossary entry that does exist is in another language pair (Spanish to German), and hence even more reason that Charles as the first proposal should input his answer which I support. Un abrazo.

Glossary I thus stand ticked off, although I did use the Proz term search (new term search) for both GGSS and "cliente GGSS" without result. Although I now realise I forgot to change the settings from the technical areas that are my main stamping grounds. In the end it turns out to be so obvious. Thanks to all.

agree Taña Dalglish : Yep! BTW, there is nothing in the rules (unspoken or otherwise) about the so-called duplicate entries! Often times, the form in which the entries appear are different, as well as the fact that many users do not know how to use the glossary! Post it!
