For a cognitive test, the participant is shown a list of words, then the list is taken away and random words are shown. Some are from the list, some are new words.

If you do not ***recognize the word from earlier***, press the NO button as quickly as you can.

I'm trying to find a way to say this, but what I have so far is pretty cumbersome.
