V případě pažení základové jámy, a to minimálně cca 1 m nad úroveň ustálené hladiny podzemní vody, je třeba proto provést pažení pomocí podzemní těsnící stěny (PTS), a to tzv. milánskou stěnou nebo převrtávanou pilotovou stěnou (s tím, že velmi pravděpodobně je třeba uvažovat tyto stěny jako kotvené)
