Spanish term

"registro eletrónico"

Spanish to English Medical Computers (general)
The complete sentence is:

This is part of an on-line patient survey. The target audience is in Argentina.

My attempt is "Make sure to check in and complete today's electronic record." I don't know if there is a new(ish) translation for "registro" when dealing with computer surveys.
Proposed translations (English)
3 +1 electronic record/e-record
4 "electronic database"

From the Client I got a response from the client (after I turned in the translation) that the preferred term is "eDiary." That does go well with the subject matter of participants in a medical study who answer questions daily about their experience with a disease/disorder and pharmaceutical intervention.

electronic record/e-record

It depends on how formal your text is but e-records gets more hits: 'Make sure you log in and complete today's e-record'.

Electronic records management is just as critical, if not more critical, than traditional paper-based records management. While general records management issues are relevant regardless of the form of the record, electronic record keeping has some special considerations, especially for long-term records. The life expectancy of an electronic file is relatively short, compared with the potential life span of the record itself. The media on which the record is kept and even the format it is kept in may be good for only a few years at best, whereas the lifetime of the record may be forever (its retention may be permanent). This paper concentrates on long-term records, defined as those records that have retentions from 10 years to permanent.

Thanks, Mike! I also like your suggestion of 'electronic database'. Why don't you post it as an answer?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "I believe your e-record is closest and would work in many situations."
