In sports, dribbling refers to the maneuvering of a ball around a defender through short skillful taps or kicks with either the legs (football/soccer), hands (basketball), stick (bandy) or swimming strokes (water polo). disagree Ilham Ahmadov : look at your own definition of dribbling, its maneuvering of ball with the purpose to bring the ball past a defender, but it is not carrying through the ball!! Sorry, if you do not understand that

Yes, that is bring the ball past a defender. Whete to the ball, is that so to pass it to a opponent?

no, you don't seem to understand the difference, look at the link I provided it says the synonym of carry through the ball is run with the ball and that is what the asker asked
