I have seen this 'ampliación de demanda' recently. It was in a Spanish case from Spain. In this case, 'una ampliación de demanda' meant that a claim had been extended to include other parties. This means that if you have initially made a claim against Mr B, you would extend the claim to include Mr C in addition to Mr B.
