Anyone has a suggestion for a nice Slovak equivalent?? Thanks in advance!
The term as in see below:
The Under-Ring
As frauds were continually eliminated, opportunities became fewer and fewer. Under-registration, or under-ringing as it was commonly known, became the new fraud of choice. Customers in a hurry were the ones that were specifically targeted, since they were less likely to notice the deception. Items were deliberately registered at a value below the marked price. A pound became the common choice, so an item for £4.99 would be registered at £3.99, but with the correct value taken from the customer.

Here’s a form of fraud you many not hear about often. It’s called “under-ringing” and it is often used in the self check out line at various types of stores where the customer replaces the bar code tag on an expensive product with a tag from a product of lesser cost. In a variation of this the clerk may scan the item at a lesser cost but receives the full cost pocketing the difference.

zaúčtovanie nižšej čiastky
Vychádza mi to z kontextu, ale nie som si úplne istá. V papieroch sa objaví nižšia suma a rozdiel si obchodník strčí do svojho vrecka
