Spanish term
ICR
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Electronics / Elect Eng
Control racks / cabinets
Hi all,
This is from SP SP > UK EN.
Taken from the tech.specs for the power supply to control racks.
Some examples (many more are available):
"Un armario ICR controla dos de los dispositivos de una intersección de [international research project]: la mesa de posicionamiento y el desplazador de fase."
"El armario de control ICR es un cuadro eléctrico que contiene los módulos necesarios para controlar la mesa de posicionamiento y el desplazador de fase de una intersección de [international research project]."
I'm 90+% sure that it represents "integrated control rack" (rack is the term chosen by the client for "armario") but I can't find any concrete links between the acronym and my guess (only three hits for "intergated control rack").
Can, preferably an electrician/elec. eng., confirm my suspicions? Has anyone ever come across this acronym in this context before?
TIA.

Discussion
I should have included this info earlier (but finding more out as I go), the 'armario ICR' has dimensions of 1000 x 500 x 500 mm - do you think the second example you kindly gave above fits in with these dimensions? It's probably going to have to be one for the client.....
Thanks again.

C5515 CSL - Is the Idle Control (ICR) and Idle Status (ISTR) defined in LOWPOWER CSL
The Type ICR is a three-phase voltage operated induction-disk time delay relay designed to respond to phase sequence, open phase or undervoltage. Each ICR relay includes a basic induction-disk unit and may also include dual rated target seal-in units.

The second one looks promising.
