Vom Aspekt nicht ganz gesund/normal, aber auch nicht eindeutig krankhaft verändert oder entzündet; so würde ich es verstehen.
Vielleicht ""slight mucosal irritation" oder so etwas, auch wenn das natürlich keine wörtliche Übersetzung ist....
