r) Surface preparation be accepted - If the surface conditions were checked and approved by the
Installer prior to the installation of the carpet, the Carpet Installer shall allow for bringing all floors
to be carpeted to a level and smooth finish by the application of a self-levelling screed or latex
compound where discrepancies in level and smoothness are not more than 3/8" (10mm).
Where discrepancies of are visible it shall be the Carpet Installer's responsibility to rectify.
s) For installation in rooms over 6.5mtrs long architectural gripper to be used.
t) No part of the underlay shall be seen in the final carpet installation.
u) Underlays shall be terminated close to carpet grippers and shall not be allowed to cover them.
