We're going to wade deep into religion and politics here. The context is a travel brochure for a tour highlighting the celebration of Olsok as well as the events of 1814. The question is, should it be "pilgrim services" or "pilgrim masses" for "pilegrimsmesser":
"Det blir lagt opp til pilegrimsvandring, pilegrimsmesser og rom for ettertanke underveis for de som ønsker det."
Note that the target audience does not necessarily share the Lutheran faith and all that entails. I'm leaning toward "services" but I would like to hear particularly from native Norwegians on this.
