"A member of a Group shall have the right to enforce any indemnity in this Contract that it is specifically named as a beneficiary thereof provided however that its remedies shall be limited to damages."
"Damages" as used in the sentence is, I believe, meant as "damage suffered". Thanking you in advance for your suggestions.

Thank you Thank you all for your suggestion of ‘dédommagement’. Within the same contract (engineering contract), an earlier clause reads “Indemnity - The Contractor shall defend, indemnify and hold the Company Group harmless from and against any claims by any Contractor Personnel asserting to be an employee or otherwise having the rights of employees of the Company.” In this clause, ‘indemnity’ goes beyond a compensation for a damage to include an obligation of protection (to protect the Company Group against the actions of Contractor Personnel). I am wondering whether the term ‘indemnity’ quoted above should also encompass both elements. Thanking you in advance for your feedback.
