You are right. It's about free access to technology (open-source technology) and making individuals energy suppliers to the general grid. Thus we could gain some degree of 'energy democracy' in markets dominated by big corporations

With all due respect to my esteemed colleagues, I believe what is important here is not that there are multiple sources of energy but that people have access to them at the LOCAL level - demokracja energetyczna. "Energy from all sources" by itself, in my estimation, does not address this central concept. I believe this is a concept: gaining independence from big energy providers and return control to local companies and people. At this level, the concept translates into the use of all possible energy sources, including the renewable kind.

If we are to avoid the most devastating effects of climate change, we need a rapid transition to a clean, efficient renewables-based energy system. For that transition to happen there needs to be a decisive shift in power towards people, communities, small local businesses and workers, and towards energy democracy. Among other things, this will have to involve a transfer of resources and infrastructure from private hands to a democratically-controlled public sector and the restructuring of energy systems towards decentralisation.
