"Gramaje: Se define en unidad de masa partido superficie. (g/m2). Es una de las propiedades más consideradas por diseñadores, editores e impresores. En sí el gramaje de un impreso es una elección del cliente, condicionada por los requisitos técnicos de maquinabilidad, y no tienen por qué provocar problemas per se. Sin embargo, el control del gramaje es importante debido a que es uno de los principales factores que influyen en el precio del papel. El gramaje de un papel se obtiene cortando y pesando muestras dimensionadas del mismo."
