Discussion

Rasa Didžiulienė (asker) Apr 11, 2014:
So what is the difference between "endoprosthesis" and "endoprosthetics"?
Valters Feists Apr 11, 2014:
No. Arthroplasty is more general - basically any surgery of a joint, with or without using a prosthesis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthroplasty
Rasa Didžiulienė (asker) Apr 11, 2014:
So as I understand, the term "arthroplasty" can be used as an equivalent to "endoprosthesis"?

agree diana bb : Yes, 'endoprosthesis' is the device that replaces the missing or malfunctioning bodily part, and 'endoprosthetics' is the process.

endoprosthesis replacement

Tai bendra sąvoka, tačiau gali būti verčiama įvairiai, priklausomai nuo to, kas protezuojama, pvz., "(total) hip/shoulder/articular replacement"
