because an agreement and a judicial interpretive finding are not comparable

- The term "לא הרי...כהרי..." is not used to say that things are not the same. It is used for things that are obviously not the same to note that some ramification or property of one is different from that of another. Therefore, if you can use a somewhat more detailed translation (e.g. "... do not carry the same legal weight"), then consider doing so.

- "חוזה" should be used for "contract"; here the translation should be "agreement."

- "Interpretive finding" is more commonly used than "interpretive determination."

Because an agreement/contract is not the same as a judicial interpretative determination

The formula, לא הרי דבר אחד כהרי דבר שני translates as "X is not the same as Y"
Example sentence:

"לא הרי השור כהרי המבעה ולא הרי המבעה כהרי השור" (Mishnah, Baba Kama 1:1)
