Once again with reference to Figure 18A and considering the operating mode of the solenoid valve 24, it is understood that the passage from the position P1 to the position P3 occurs passing for an infinitesimal time through the position P2; however, from the standpoint of the intake valves, this transition is not appreciable, and hence said intake valves see the valve 24 pass directly from the position PI to the position P3.
