Dutch term

hetzij plaatsvindt

Dutch to English Law/Patents Law (general) Employment contract
Hi, I'm having difficulty with this phrase in this context. I'm thinking it means "if [the moves] takes place or occurs" Thanks for your help!

I think it should read : "hetzij plaatsvindt, het[zij] dusdanig definitief is".

either takes place, or is fina to such an extent that...

Actually it should say 'hetzij plaatsvindt, hetzij dusdanig definitief is, dat deze termijn niet aanzienlijk wordt overschreden...'

Or that's how I read it. 'Hetzij... hetzij' means 'either... or'.

obviously that should be 'final'.
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : final to such an extent? what does that mean?

agree Michael Beijer : agree with: 'Hetzij... hetzij' = 'either... or'. not sure about the "final" part. prefer Frank's "or is sufficiently definite"
