Diarmuid, it's not all that uncommon for testators (ZING! – more legalese :-) to include instructions and preferences not couched in lawyerese. It's only when the heirs get to wranglin' over what those instructions mean that the real money is to be made in what we call "elder law" over here. ;-)

Thanks Charles - that is exactly the translation I used, but I just wanted someone to confirm - it's a vague concept to use in a legal document.
