If enclosure removal is required to access the vacuum port, refer to the appropriate enclosure removal procedure in the service documentation for your system.

For MR systems with a Salt block magnet cover configuration (as shown in (Figure 1-1) and any other system (e.g., Vectra, Contour, Openspeed, etc.) for which the vacuum port is not easily accessible, please call your Qualified Service Representative for enclosure removal and breaking the vacuum using Vacuum Break Tool.

The vacuum port enclosure cover is indicated by the red circle.

If you are unable to turn the handle, either call a GE Service Representative for further assistance or remove system enclosure cover.
