Can it be understood that this is a real box with all 06 surfaces (bottom, top, and 04 surrounding surfaces) located outdoor (the sun and the rain could not enter the box)?

(like a room with roof)

or

Can it be understood that this is a box with only 05 surfaces (bottom, and 04 surrounding surfaces, without top surface) located outdoor (the sun and the rain can enter the box)?

(like a room without roof)

At a theatre? I first thought of horses but there are so many other possibilities. I know an outdoor theatre - I don't think it has any boxes but larger ones might. Window box? That wouldn't have a lid.

Context This is the sort of question that cannot be sensibly answered without context. It could mean the sort of boxes shown in the reference given by Dariusz. It could be a horse box, even a spectators' box at a racecourse. You need to supply at least the sentences immediately before and after your term in the source text.

outdoor (electric, IT) cabinet/enclosure

This is my first thought on this, considering the context provided:) I think this is the type of weatherproof cabinet that you install some electric or network appliance or equipment in.
