Cotización is one of those words you have to think about whenever you see it. Sometimes it means the price (i.e. the price quoted), at others it refers to the act of quoting or marking the prices. Sometimes, as you say, it can mean trading (i.e., a company shares are traded or "cotizadas" on the exchange), and sometimes it refers to listing (i.e., placing a new stock on the exchange to be traded).
I'd say "prices" in the first instance, and "quotation" or "trading" in the second.
You'll need to figure out which term applies where throughout. That's the deal with these kinds of texts.
