Valves, Gates and Supports
Use concrete blocks, fabricated steel pipe stands or fabricated steel brackets to support and anchor valves independently of connecting pipework.
Install at locations shown on the Drawings in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Check valves and gates for operation and clear items of any debris prior to installation.
Install valves and gates vertically with actuating stem ***plumb*** unless otherwise indicated on Drawings.
