English to Spanish Medical Medical (general) proveedores de equipos médicos
The term “Health Providers” includes both persons providing services and persons who do not provide services directly but who are involved in the decision to purchase, lease or recommend MMMM products. Health Providers include (but are not limited to): (1) individuals, for example, doctors, nurses, discharge planners, hospital procurement/sourcing personnel, purchasing managers, transporters, respiratory therapists, operating room staff, technicians, research coordinators, non-clinical office staff and other allied health personnel; and (2) certain entities, for example, hospitals, long‐term care facilities, home health agencies, *group purchasing bodies* and other health care organizations.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Rosmu

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

What is being referrd to:
Group purchasing is used in many industries to purchase raw materials and supplies, but it is common practice in the grocery industry, health care, electronics, industrial manufacturing and agricultural industries. In recent years, group purchasing has begun to take root in the nonprofit community. Group purchasing amongst nonprofits is still relatively new, but is quickly becoming common place as nonprofits aim to find ways to reduce overhead expenses. In the healthcare field, GPOs have most commonly been accessed by acute-care organizations, but non-profit Community Clinics and Health Centers throughout the U.S. have also been engaging in group purchasing.(Wikipedia)
