NOTE: at the time of machine build the Wear Bar Spacers will have been marked (etched) on each side ‘Bottom’ or ‘PTO side’ to identify them as a further small amount of adjustment can be made to each Spacer.
Ensure that the Spacers are re fitted at the correct position.
Slacken Cradle and ***Gibb*** securing screws and adjust the Register Blocks by the required amount (instruction f. refers).
Adjustment ratio = 3:1 (for every 0.001" adjustment required grind the Register Block by 0.003").

De acuerdo con bigedsenior,... es un error de redacción pero creo que se trata del brazo de la grúa y no de la grúa en si.
En diccionarios consultados y en este contexto "jib" es "brazo".
Si es una grúa es el brazo de la misma.

Estaba por darle un agree a la respuesta que ya tienes, pero debido a tus dudas decidí investigar un poco más. Si lees lo que encontré en Wikipedia y Google verás que existe la palabra gib en un contexto similar al tuyo, y veo que en algunas referencias se escribe con mayúscula.
En el diccionario Robb figura gib como chaveta o contrachaveta
Puse un nivel de confianza bajo, porque no es mi tema.
