Thanks to you all for the support and resources. They have been most useful to me!
Neil Ashby Jun 27, 2016:
hypo- or hyperintense signals not images.
"T1-weighted images" is okay but I definitely would not use "hyperintense images", only specific signals in the images are described as hypo/hyperintense/mixed/homogeneous etc. (that's what distinguishes certain tissues from others).
Neil Ashby Jun 27, 2016:
"signals" not images ....
Biomed Sci Jun 27, 2016:
Hi Elisa,
Look up for example "hypointense on T1-weighted images". I think that's what you're looking for.
Mario Chavez (X) Jun 27, 2016:
It's not 'sequences' but 'sections of a CAT scan, it seems.
Joseph Tein Jun 26, 2016:
"in" not "on" ... it's difficult for Spanish speakers to know when to use these correctly, because Spanish only has "en" for both

CT scan imaging (hypointense, etc.)

It's not a question of being familiar with medical terms, CT scan terminology in this case, but also (and more importantly) with a) whom this report is written for (NOT for patients, but for fellow physicians or to meet study protocol requirements). I feel the translator is out of his/her depth here.
