medical laboratory tests
This is from a report on a subject in a clinical trial in Argentina. Lab results for a number of tests are listed. The formula for calculating the results for a microalbumin test is given. The formula is "rodeo microalbubminuria" / creatininuria" = results in mg/gr creatinine.
I know this is known in English as the urine albumin test, the microalbumin test or the albumin-to-creatinine ratio, or ACR, or UACR. My question is, what is "rodeo"? Is it something like a panel? or an indirect method or a workaround? Does it even need to be translated at all as long as I have the correct English name for the test?
