Danish term

tegnproducent

Danish to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy Early childhood literacy
This is an abstract for a dissertation concerning early childhood literacy and children's development in writing and reading skills.

Sentence given:

The author furthermore explains:

However, I am not totally convinced that "sign-maker" would be correct in the context.

Discussion

Norskpro Jul 27, 2016:
Sign is not a good term in this context, as it can get confused with sign-language. Maybe it would be better to use "character" or "letter".
