calado y espiga

Spanish to English Social Sciences Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
Hi all,

I am currently translating clothing descriptions and have come across the above in the following context:

Jersey de punto calado y espiga, con estampado multicolor. Tiene manga larga, cuello redondo y canalé en vivos.

From what I've seen online, "calado tipo espiga" seems to be a stitch type, but I'm not sure what the translation into English would be! Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

I think in English the exact stitch name is unlikely to be used, unless it is something common like cable, moss or rib stitch, etc.
