High wear-parts turnover
Some components – pump impellers, pump and cyclone liners and screen media, for example – will inevitably wear over time due to the nature of the product handled.
When parts need to be changed very frequently, causing regular interruptions to the process, the whole system should be reviewed and an upgrade to the equipment may be worth the investment.
Improved hydraulic designs or higher quality wear-resistant materials more suited to the application could significantly increase the longevity of wear parts.
