"Ma." is the standard abbreviation of "María" in Spanish, and the compound forename "María Lourdes" is very common in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. There are many forenames consisting of María plus another name (my Spanish wife is called María Isabel, for example). So this person has two forenames, "María Lourdes" and "Nanette", and a double surname, Catalon Guerin. In Spain people have two surnames, the patronymic and the matronymic. "María Lourdes" suggests that this person has Spanish connections, though I find a person of this name in Canada, and both the surnames are of French origin.

In Spain we normally put "Mª", but the "ª" character is not found on some keyboards so people use "Ma.".
