Spanish term

Convocatoria Extra. de Diciembre / Convocatoria Extra. de Fin de Carrera

Spanish to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
These appear at the bottom of an academic transcript from Spain, like this:

(Dic.): Convocatoria Extra. de Diciembre (Fin Carrera): Convocatoria Extra. de Fin de Carrera

I know convocatoria is an exam but not sure if these exams are optional exams/rescheduled exam/etc.

Discussion

Seth Phillips (asker) May 3, 2017:
@Lorenab23 Thanks sharing. The terms are slightly different though. They appear on the top of the transcript and refer to exams taken in May/June and September. The above in this kudos post are separate from those (in December and for the senior/degree project). Just don't know if "December Exams" and "Exam for Senior/Degree Project" would work.

Proposed translations

makeup exam

In Mexico at least, "examen extraordinario" is what you take at the end of the semester if you fail the regular course.
I have used "makeup exam" for this.
