Hi all,

I am currently translating job role descriptions for a tobacco company and would appreciate any assistance with the above term, which appears next to the heading "Grupo Ocupacional" with no further context. Against other jobs, the term is "Horario Indirecto", yet there is nothing in the text to explain what this means.

philgoddard Jun 19, 2017: Whether it's "directo" or "indirecto" you're asking about, I'd just do a literal translation, direct/indirect hours. Direct could mean hours worked actually doing the job, as opposed to (say) paperwork or idle time. Or it could mean working for the company rather than an agency. I don't think there's any point speculating.
