moule gabarit

French to English Art/Literary Archaeology ancient art
Hi again!
DOC: 1907 Museum catalog of ancient Egyptian mirrors. Catalog entry.
CONTEXT: 44102.
SAME OBJECT, DIFFERENT SOURCES:
Upon the upper shelf is a wooden plaque (n° 936), its height is 0 m. 21 cent., its width 0 m. 129 mill. Upon its surface the shapes of the handle of a mirror and two little pans have been carefully scooped out. The wax was run into these hollows, and the moulds which were used in casting the articles in question were built up upon it.

ATTEMPT: Mold template for a handle or a casket of a mirror.
ISSUE: Is this an accurate rendering, Googling it, it seems okay, but....
Thanks in advance for any feedback or correction!

Picture found Hi Mrrafe, I didn't think there was one but I found that the errata said that on this plate (xxv) is a typo. So ignore the 44012, it should read 44102.

I tried to get the link to the actual plate:

It could be:

case Suggest case instead of casket, which in US usually holds a burial coffin. Because of the two small pans, the case could be a locket - a symmetrical folding case like a clamshell - but that's probably too speculative unless there's a picture.
