Bonsoir à tous,
Je traduis actuellement un entretien d'un architecte africain, et je bute sur ces termes dont je ne parviens pas vraiment à déterminer ce qu'ils désignent dans le cadre du plan d'un théâtre :
"I was turned off by the theatre buildings in mainland Europe. I felt they were unsuccessful acoustically, and that they had terrible side-lines and views. In fact, I did not think they were built with any consideration for human beings at all."
Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

Discussion
If you think about a conventional proscenium theatre, quite a number of seats in the house have 'blind spots' where they cannot in fact see certain parts of the stage; or, they have a very awkward 'view' of the stage: for example, too oblique, if the seats are off to the side; or of course, too downwards, if they are high up in the Upper Circle, for example.
