Strike the set - To deconstruct the set after the show is finished. This can mean breaking it down to its stock pieces and returning them to storage, while throwing away anything built custom for the show. If the set was rented, or is a touring set, striking the set means breaking the set down into the individual pieces that will fit on the truck, then loading the truck.
