Perhaps there is a better term, but at least this is the meaning of the word in this context - adjustments made to match the report with the desired numbers, goals. etc.
The same word can be used in the meaning of device/system corrections/amendments after manufacturing (with a negative sense, like tighten the bolts and nuts), but, just in case, this is pure jargon, unacceptable for business style and normal Russian language.

In fact, I don't deserve the grade, but at least I initialized the discussion ))
