Given that you think this is a modern building without decorative tympanum, I think you can treat "tympans" as redundant. All it does, in this case, is indicate that it isn't about a levelling course to the foundations or over a ring beam.

In classical architecture, the 'tympanum' is the triangular panel occupying the space between the square top of the wall and the sloping roof of a gable-end — which in many cases was carved or otherwise decorated. So this would seem to be logical with yout 'tympan' as a feature to be conserved.
Not sure about the 'arase' part, though... I'll see if I can find that in one of my glossaries, i remember seeing it soemwhere and being surprised about the meaning...
